The death of baby Sıla... Indictment against 5 suspects
The investigation into the death of 2-year-old baby Sıla in Tekirdağ, who died as a result of sexual abuse and battery, has been completed. Two separate indictments containing serious charges have been prepared against the mother, B.Y., and 4 other suspects.

The Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has sent the indictments prepared against the mother, B.Y., and the other suspects to the court.
A total of 67 years in prison has been requested for the mother, B.Y., on charges of "intentional killing by omission," "destruction, concealment, or alteration of evidence," and "violation of obligations arising from family law."
THEY ALSO ACCUSED THE NEIGHBOR AND THE PERSON SHE LIVED WITH
K.A. (Neighbor and father of one of the children): A total of 28 years and 6 months in prison has been requested on charges of "sexual abuse of a child" and "deprivation of liberty."
S.Ö. (The person living with the mother): A 1-year and 6-month prison sentence has been requested for "failure to report and concealment of a crime."
A separate indictment has also been prepared for the children dragged into crime, G.K. (14) and K.A. (13):
G.K.: A total of 66 years in prison has been requested on charges of "qualified sexual abuse" and "deprivation of liberty."
K.A.: A sentence of 48 years in prison and aggravated life imprisonment has been requested on charges of "qualified sexual abuse," "deprivation of liberty," and "intentional killing."
INDICTMENTS ARE IN COURT
One of the prepared indictments was sent to the Tekirdağ 3rd High Criminal Court, and the other was sent to the Tekirdağ 2nd High Criminal Court.
