Following the arrest of Dilan Polat and Engin Polat on money laundering charges, it was announced that the ministry had taken action and would launch an investigation into 600 influencers.
A new development occurred today regarding the Polat case, which is being closely followed by the public.
As will be recalled, a photograph taken in November 2019 of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple with their other influencer friends had been a subject of long-standing debate on social media.
THEY WILL BE SUMMONED FOR QUESTIONING
The prosecutor's office has included the famous influencers featured in this photograph—Merve Nur Akyüz, İleyda Topal, Tolunay Topal, Kenan Özkan, Eylül Öztürk, Nez Demir, Yasemin Yiğit, and her husband Murat Yiğit—in the Polat case file.
The famous influencers will be summoned to the police station in the coming days to provide their statements.
