A forest fire that broke out in the Aliağa district of İzmir is being fought from the air and on the ground. According to information obtained, the fire started in a forested area of Aliağa.
The fire is being fought with 3 aircraft, 4 helicopters, and 12 water tenders belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry. It is reported that teams are working intensively to bring the fire under control. It has been learned that the extinguishing efforts are progressing positively.
Officials stated that efforts are continuing to bring the fire completely under control.
