Explosive claim from former Police Intelligence Chief regarding the person who ordered Sinan Ateş's death: 'They are a dollar nationalist'

The indictment prepared after the investigation, which was completed 2 years after the assassination of former Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) President Sinan Ateş in Ankara, has reached the court. In the indictment, 22 suspects were charged with 'premeditated murder'.

However, the effort to make the assassination appear as if it were not a political murder in the indictment drew attention. In the indictment prepared by the prosecutor's office, the fact that Sinan Ateş was the former President of the Idealist Hearths was only mentioned in witness statements, while the prosecutor's office stated that Ateş was only an academic at Hacettepe University's Department of History.

CALL TO ATEŞ'S DAUGHTERS

Former Police Intelligence Chief Sabri Uzun made a call to Sinan Ateş's daughters, Bengisu and Banuçiçek.

Stating that the person who ordered the Sinan Ateş murder is a 'dollar nationalist', Uzun said, "Your father's blood will not remain unavenged. But it will be dragged out for at least 10 years, like the Court of Cassation or the European Court of Human Rights. Seek refuge in the Turkish Nation."

Sabri Uzun used the following expressions in the post he shared on his social media account:

"I hope Sinan Ateş's children, Bengisu and Banuçiçek, who are entrusted to us, will not be sad. The person who gave the 'death order' for your father is a 'dollar nationalist'. Your father's blood will not remain unavenged. But it will be dragged out for at least 10 years, like the Court of Cassation or the European Court of Human Rights. Seek refuge in the Turkish Nation."
