The Ankara Governor's Office announced that four workers were slightly injured after High-Speed Train (YHT) carriages, which were set to enter service, derailed due to a technical malfunction during a test run in Mamak-Kayaş.

In a post on its Twitter account, the Ankara Governor's Office stated, "Four YHT employees were slightly injured in an accident that occurred when High-Speed Train carriages, which were set to enter service, derailed due to a technical malfunction during a test run in Mamak/Kayaş at 03:30 today. A technical and administrative investigation into the accident has been initiated."
