1 dead, 3 injured in traffic accident on E-5 highway

The SUV with license plate 34 ZJ 2533, driven by Muhammet E.A. (19) and traveling in the direction of Merter on the E-5 highway, crashed into the iron barriers on the side of the road.

The driver of the vehicle, which began to burn, was thrown onto the road due to the impact of the crash.

Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The teams extracted Erdem Ö., Eren G., and Yusuf D., who were passengers in the vehicle, from where they were trapped.

While the first interventions for the injured were performed by medical teams at the scene of the accident, it was determined that the driver, Muhammet E.A., had lost his life. Eren G., Erdem Ö., and Yusuf D. were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

While the vehicle that caused the accident was removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck, traffic flow on the E-5 highway was provided via the side road for a while.
