Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated that they have held talks with Hamas regarding the release of hostages who are not Israeli citizens.

According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, Kanaani answered questions regarding the agenda during his weekly press conference.

Kanaani said, "Upon the requests of some countries whose citizens are among the hostages, Iran and Hamas have discussed the hostages who are not Israeli citizens and are not parties to the conflict. We have received a positive promise from Hamas."

'YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW'

Regarding the attacks on US bases in Iraq, the Iranian spokesperson said, "Some countries are providing unconditional support to the Zionist regime. Supporting tension in the region leads to reactions. You reap what you sow."

When asked about the possibility of Hezbollah becoming involved in the war, Kanaani pointed to the speech expected to be delivered by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Friday, stating, "I am also waiting for Nasrallah's speech."
