Speaking to Al Jazeera television, Iranian President Raisi said that the crimes committed by Israel have crossed humanitarian and military red lines, and that this situation could push everyone to take action.

Pointing to the US support for Israel, Raisi said, "Washington provides extensive support to the Zionist regime while asking us not to take any action, but this is an invalid request."

"IRAN-BACKED MILITIAS MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS"

Stating that the Washington administration has sent written messages to the "axis of resistance" in this regard, Raisi referred to the attacks by Iran-backed militias in the region against US forces, saying, "The US has clearly seen the answer to this on the ground."

However, Raisi argued that the Iran-backed militias in the region and Palestinian resistance groups make their own decisions and do not take orders from Tehran.

Stating that the US has made completely wrong calculations in the region and will never reach its goal of creating a "new Middle East," Raisi said, "The Zionist regime and American support do not have the capacity to eliminate the Palestinian resistance.

The US knows our current capacity very well and is aware that it is out of the question to overcome it," he said.

The Iranian President stated, "The US and some European countries are blocking a ceasefire in Gaza, and this is a crime. Together with all Arab and Islamic countries and other nations of the world, we support an immediate ceasefire."
