On the 8th day of the Israel-Hamas conflict, which continues with a ground operation launched by the Israeli army, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Israeli soldiers near the Gaza Strip.
It was reported that Netanyahu was at Kibbutz Be'eri and Kibbutz Kfar Azza, two of the Gaza border communities severely affected by last week's Hamas attacks.
During his visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on developments by the Israel Defense Forces.
''THE NEXT STAGE IS COMING''
This visit marks the first time Netanyahu has visited the scene since the attacks. Netanyahu had faced criticism in the Israeli press for not visiting the area or the wounded. Furthermore, in a video shared by the Prime Minister's Office in Israel, the Prime Minister told soldiers in southern Israel that "the next stage is coming."
