İYİ Party's Kavuncu declares 'Öcalan is not a people's leader': Reacts to slogans
Group deputy chairs of political parties made assessments regarding the agenda at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). İYİ Party Group Deputy Chair Buğra Kavuncu also reacted to slogans chanted in Parliament in support of PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Kavuncu reacted to the slogans chanted in Parliament today in support of terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan, stating, "In which country's parliament in the world have slogans been chanted in favor of a terrorist organization leader without facing any sanctions?"
Kavuncu criticized the chanting of slogans in support of terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan in Parliament before the DEM Party group meeting, saying the following:
"In which country's parliament in the world have slogans been chanted in favor of a terrorist organization leader without facing any sanctions? Just imagine what would have happened if we had experienced such a situation before the 2023 General Elections. I am certain that the ruling party would have immediately launched an investigation into this and used it for propaganda everywhere.
But today, slogans regarding the leader of a terrorist organization are being chanted under the roof of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and we cannot hear a single sentence from the ruling party benches.
It seems this no longer bothers you at all, friends; this has become clearly visible. Öcalan is not a people's leader; Öcalan is the leader of a terrorist organization!
He has been convicted of many crimes, primarily disrupting the unity of the state and the integrity of the country.
We are all seeing in the harshest way the damage caused by this process, which equates Öcalan with the Kurds living in Turkey and portrays him as if he were the leader of all Kurds living in Turkey; I hope we do not see it grow even further."
