Judge Gül A., who served at the Adana Courthouse, has become a major topic of discussion in Turkey. The Ministry of Justice announced that Gül A., whose name has been linked to a chain of scandals including illicit affairs, bribery, and drug parties, has been suspended and dismissed due to a separate case.
SHE HAD HER FETÖ-LINKED HUSBAND CLEARED BY HER LOVER
Following these developments, striking details have been reached regarding the investigation conducted by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) into Gül A.
According to a report by Halit Turan from Sabah, it was determined that Gül A., who used her professional influence and gender to act as an intermediary in many cases to gain benefits, ensured the acquittal of police officer M.C.D., who helped her in Edirne and was himself facing trial.
It was revealed that she used her lover M.C.D., who was working at the Edirne Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch at the time, to destroy evidence and secure a non-prosecution decision for her husband S.A., who served as a Deputy Governor in Edirne during the July 15 coup attempt and was dismissed from his profession in September 2016 for FETÖ membership.
SHE ALSO INTERVENED FOR HER SON
Judge Gül A.'s husband is currently a deputy governor in a metropolitan city. Furthermore, Gül A.'s actions were not limited to these. It was stated that Gül A. traveled to Kahramanmaraş to secure favorable rulings for her son in compensation lawsuits filed due to defects in an earthquake housing project built by her son's company in Gaziantep; that she made efforts to have tax penalties imposed on her son's company lifted; and that she ensured the transfer of a property title by making it appear as if it had been purchased with a loan to guarantee her son's business situation.
"HER HUSBAND CONSENTED TO THIS RELATIONSHIP"
Businessperson Server Leventoğlu, who allegedly had a forbidden affair with Judge Gül A. for 5 years, stated, "Her husband consented to this relationship. We had a company established for her son. Even today, the judge calls and threatens me. She is trying to force me to commit suicide. The moment I learned that this woman was contacting certain people and using herself, I wanted to leave. I could not stomach such a relationship."
