Kemal Okuyan's assessment following the TÜSİAD investigation: TÜSİAD keeps Erdoğan in line and forces the opposition to pledge allegiance
In a statement made via social media, Kemal Okuyan pointed out that TÜSİAD constantly attempts to steer the country through the ties it has established with the government and bureaucracy, while also noting that it occasionally sends messages to the public, stating that the content of the latest message was, "You cannot govern, get your act together."

Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) General Secretary Kemal Okuyan evaluated the latest developments following the statements made at the TÜSİAD general assembly, which targeted the government over "legal scandals" and emphasized that "extraordinary events" were occurring in political life and that the "system has collapsed."
In his post, where he stated, "TÜSİAD is repeating the truths that the TKP has been persistently pointing to for some time while saying 'they cannot govern' for entirely different reasons," Okuyan listed what lies behind TÜSİAD's message as follows:
"1. They fear that the crisis of governance will lead to a mishap in foreign policy and put their massive profits at risk.
2. They are concerned that the crisis of governance will threaten the stability and the 'get-it-done' management style (i.e., lack of oversight and irresponsibility) that the AKP has provided to capital for years.
3. They are worried that in order to resolve the crisis of governance, the AKP will completely narrow the political space and trigger social reactions.
4. They are anxious that the crisis of governance will first wear down the government, then the system and the reign of capital, leading to them being called into question."
'THEY DO NOT WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE AWAY THEIR MEANS OF CONTROL AND GOVERNANCE'
Kemal Okuyan also pointed out that the desire to keep the government in line and not lose the conditions to force the opposition to pledge allegiance to it is influential behind the "bosses' club's" move:
"And most importantly, they do not want the government to take away an important means of control and governance from the bosses by eliminating its own alternatives through the law. By preparing a strong political alternative, TÜSİAD keeps Erdoğan in the line it wants, and forces the opposition to pledge complete allegiance to it under the pretext of getting rid of Erdoğan.
Otherwise, as Erdoğan says, didn't the AKP government give TÜSİAD everything it wanted?"
THE REASON FOR THE PRAISE FOR MEHMET ŞİMŞEK: 'THEIR PROFITS SOARED OFF THE CHARTS'
Kemal Okuyan explained the reasons for TÜSİAD's praise of Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek as follows:
"While complaining about many things, TÜSİAD did not forget to praise Mehmet Şimşek. Yes, didn't the government also give TÜSİAD Mehmet Şimşek?
It did. Over the years, it gave privatizations, it gave incentives, it gave tenders, it gave low worker wages, it gave plunder, it gave pillage. The profits of TÜSİAD capital and others soared off the charts and conquered the peaks."
Okuyan concluded his assessment by criticizing the stance taken by the opposition following the statements made by TÜSİAD:
"Now TÜSİAD, the representative of the happy minority, has spoken, and the opposition has immediately become excited. Pity this country. Stay away from those who think they can fight against religious sects by pinning their hopes on holding companies, and from those who claim that a struggle for democracy can be waged with TÜSİAD. Worst of all is the claim that TÜSİAD has started to understand the plight of the poor. Unbelievable."
