MHP Chief Advisor to the Chairman Eyyup Yıldız insulted and threatened journalist Erk Acarer on his social media account, calling him 'devoid of honor' after Acarer quoted Bahçeli's words and criticized Political Islam.

Journalist Erk Acarer quoted a statement by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding Gaza on his social media account X/Twitter, writing: ''Yes, the son-in-law who sends UAVs and armed drones to all four corners of the world but settles for just donations to Gaza says the same thing! Nationalism-flavored Political Islamism is a fraud!''

The words of Bahçeli that Acarer criticized are as follows:

''If my state demands it, my nation supports it, and conditions require it, I would be a coward if I did not set out to protect the children in Gaza''

MHP Chief Advisor to the Chairman Eyyup Yıldız, targeting the post shared by Erk Acarer, insulted the journalist as follows:

''You dishonorable, insolent person, the dogs bark but the caravan moves on. Your crypto-service agents will give you a message soon; I'm not finished with you, you scoundrel.''
