Özdemir stated, "Our young lieutenants are loyal to the law, order, their commanders, and their commander-in-chief, and they are aware of their duties. These young people are not only the defenders of Turkey's struggle for survival but also the future of our global ideals under their honorable uniforms. We have full confidence in them."
The statement from MHP's Özdemir is as follows:
The Turkish Armed Forces have brought forth the noble soldiers of the Great Turkish Nation and many heroes, and will continue to do so until eternity. Their duty is to protect the honor of the military and the glory of the Turkish flag, to ensure the call to prayer is not silenced, and to willingly sacrifice their lives on this blessed path they believe in when required while on duty for the homeland.
The eternal Commander-in-Chief of these young people is our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is also the Commander-in-Chief of this heroic army and of our lieutenants who honorably declared their oaths, with the authority he received from our nation.
Our young lieutenants are loyal to the law, order, their commanders, and their commander-in-chief, and they are aware of their duties. These young people are not only the defenders of Turkey's struggle for survival but also the future of our global ideals under their honorable uniforms. We have full confidence in them.
The unbreakable bond between our army and our nation will not be allowed to be harmed. For this reason, no one should cause different paths or perceptions. May the path and fortune of our newly graduated lieutenants be bright. May Almighty God be the helper and supporter of each and every one of them.
