Minister Tunç makes statement on Eylem Tok and Timur Cihantimur case

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the Eylem Tok and Timur Cihantimur case.

In a statement made on social media, Minister Tunç noted the following:

"Regarding our extradition request to our country, the detention of suspects Eylem Tok and her son Timur Cihantimur, who were apprehended and taken into custody in the USA, arrested by the court they appeared before in Boston, and brought before a judge separately today, has been ordered to continue,

Eylem Tok's hearing has been postponed to June 27, and her son Timur Cihantimur's hearing to June 20.

We will continue to pursue the necessary initiatives for the extradition of the suspects from the USA to our country for the sake of justice."
