Ministry denies claims of 'agreement with Zen Pırlanta'

The salary expectations of civil servants and retirees were left unfulfilled. The lowest pension was increased by 15.75 percent to 14,469 TL. The salary increase rate for civil servants remained at 11.54 percent.
According to a report by journalist Ünsal Ünlü, civil servants who did not receive a salary raise were presented with a discount campaign. Ünlü reported that the Ministry of Family and Social Services had made an agreement with Zen Pırlanta. According to Ünlü, ministry employees would be able to shop at Zen Pırlanta by taking advantage of a 10 percent discount.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services denied the claims that an agreement was made with Zen Pırlanta.
The statement issued by the ministry included the following remarks:
'Such discount/promotion offers are sent to personnel for informational purposes. There is absolutely no special agreement made between our ministry and the firm in question."
