No raise for civil servants, but there is a discount on diamonds! Agreement between the Ministry and Zen Pırlanta

The salary expectations of civil servants and retirees have been left unfulfilled. The lowest pension was increased by 15.75 percent to 14,469 TL. The raise rate for civil servants remained at 11.54 percent.

Journalist Ünsal Ünlü reported that civil servants, who did not receive a salary increase, were presented with a discount campaign. Ünlü stated that the Ministry of Family and Social Services had reached an agreement with Zen Pırlanta. According to Ünlü, ministry employees will be able to shop at Zen Pırlanta by taking advantage of a 10 percent discount. 

Ünsal Ünlü also shared the document regarding the discount agreement on his social media account. 

The details of the agreement were revealed in a petition sent to the Ministry of Family and Social Services Department of Support Services by Emin Güzeliş, the owner of Zen Pırlanta.

In the petition, a discount code and information regarding the campaign for the 10 percent discount were shared.

It was also stated that ministry personnel could shop with their institutional ID cards. 

The full text of the petition is as follows:

“As a special opportunity for the personnel and their relatives of the central units and all affiliated organizations of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Family and Social Services; we commit to an additional 10% discount on our diamond products on top of existing discounts (excluding single-stone products of 0.70 ct and above, wedding rings, accessories, and perfumes). Your personnel who wish to benefit from the discount can apply to our stores with their Personnel ID Card or use the discount code (ZF-****) created specifically for you when shopping via our online platform.”
