Ministry of National Education to hold 'Maarif Congress': Emphasis on national identity and family

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) will hold a "Maarif Congress" in Erzurum on November 26-27 as part of the November 24 Teachers' Day celebrations.

In the official letter sent to the governorships of 81 provinces, emphasis was placed on the goals of giving education a national identity and creating national consciousness in society, based on the Century of Turkey Education Model.

The letter drew attention to the central role of teachers in the education system, stating that the aim is to support their professional development and strengthen teaching practices. It was also stated that Teachers' Day is an occasion to thank teachers.

THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN EDUCATION IS AT THE FOREFRONT

Among the topics to be discussed at the congress, the emphasis placed on the concept of "family" in education stands out.

As part of the AKP's recent policies regarding the concept of family, the impact of the family on education will also be discussed at the Maarif Congress. Topics such as "the impact of play and friendship on education" and "the contribution of social responsibility projects to education" will also be addressed by teachers at the congress.

At the Maarif Congress, organized as part of the Teachers' Day Program, teachers are encouraged to submit papers to share their professional experiences.

Teachers from both within the country and abroad can apply to submit their papers until October 18. Selected papers will be presented at the congress and some will be published.
