Murder in Istanbul: Man kills wife and stepdaughter, then commits suicide

The murder took place in Sultangazi, Yunus Emre Neighborhood around 06:00 in the morning.
Mehmet Kaya, who suffered from alcohol addiction, shot and killed Şadumane Temuçin, whom he married 2 years ago, and her daughter Aleyna Dayıoğlu, before committing suicide.
HE COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER SHOOTING HIS WIFE AND STEPDAUGHTER
According to allegations, Mehmet Kaya forced his way into Şadumane Temuçin's home in the morning hours. He drew his weapon and opened fire, first on his 47-year-old wife of 2 years, and then on his 22-year-old stepdaughter, Aleyna Dayıoğlu.
Aleyna Dayıoğlu, who was targeted by the bullets, tried to escape by running outside. However, Mehmet Kaya caught up with the young woman on Şehit Murat Celep Street and shot her.
While the young woman lost her life at the scene, Kaya held the gun to his own head and committed suicide.

Following the incident, police teams were dispatched to the area. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Mehmet Kaya had an alcohol addiction and had been experiencing various problems with his wife.
HE CALLED THE SON-IN-LAW
It was learned that Kaya, who had 11 criminal records, called Şadumane Temuçin's son-in-law before committing suicide.
