The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry began sharing the list of companies engaged in imitation and adulteration with the public starting October 2.
While the names of businesses found to have pork in their food products were shared with the public, an exception occurred with one of them.
It is alleged that the meatball chain in question blocked the disclosure of its name through a court order.
Republican People's Party (CHP) Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül made a statement regarding the meatball chain found to have pork in its products.
Sarıgül issued a call to the company and the authorities in a video he shared on his X account.
'IF YOU DO NOT DISCLOSE IT, I WILL'
In his video statement, Sarıgül included the following remarks:
"There is tremendous misinformation. Who is the famous firm that fed our citizens pork without informing them? Please disclose it. I have information reaching me, and I am trying to verify it. Otherwise, I will disclose it."
