Ankara MP Nedim Yamalı, who resigned from the Future Party yesterday, took his place at the AKP group meeting today.
Speaking to members of the press following the meeting, Yamalı stated, "Political movements close to each other in the conservative community need to be together. That is why we will continue the struggle in these ranks once again."
HE RESIGNED FROM THE FUTURE PARTY YESTERDAY
Future Party Ankara MP Nedim Yamalı had announced his resignation from his party yesterday in a statement on his social media account. Yamalı had used the following expressions:
"As of today, I am resigning from my membership in the Future Party, in which I have served since its establishment.
I would like to thank my Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, for the support he provided during my work, and I wish success to all my fellow party members.
Respectfully announced to the public."
At the end of the meeting, President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan pinned the party badge on Nedim Yamalı.
Nedim Yamalı, who was elected as an MP from the Future Party after being nominated as the 6th candidate in the Ankara 1st district on the CHP lists, had announced his decision to resign yesterday. Yamalı has joined the AKP.
