New development in the Dilan Polat-Engin Polat case: Arrest request for relative
In the investigation into the Dilan-Engin Polat couple, Engin Polat's accountant, Gökay Bekar, has been referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for his arrest following his statement to the prosecutor's office.

The Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues its investigation into suspects, including Engin Polat and Dilan Polat, on charges of "laundering proceeds of crime, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, and violation of the law on the regulation of betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions."
As part of the investigation, Engin Polat's relative and accountant Gökay Bekar was taken into custody and brought to the Anatolian Courthouse.
Following his procedures at the prosecutor's office, Bekar was referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for his arrest.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Of the 18 suspects named in the Polat case, 12 people, including Engin Polat, Dilan Polat, Sıla Doğu, Sezgin Polat, Ahmet Gün, Can Doğu, and Can Polat, were arrested, while 6 suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
