It has been learned that Dilan Polat, who was arrested as part of an investigation into charges including money laundering and tax evasion, called her husband Engin Polat, who is being held at Çorlu Prison, and said, "I want to commit suicide."
According to Sözcü's report, Dilan Polat, who is being held at Marmara Prison, had a phone conversation today with her husband Engin Polat, who is staying at Çorlu Prison. During the call, Dilan Polat told her husband, "I want to commit suicide."
Noticing that Dilan Polat's mental health had deteriorated, her lawyers went to the prison to meet with her.

Engin and Dilan Polat, against whom an investigation was launched by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crimes of "laundering proceeds of crime, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, and violation of the law on the regulation of betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions," were detained in an operation carried out by the Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau.
