New development in the Sinan Ateş case: Eray Özyağcı's 'trigger' gesture added to the case file

A notable development has occurred in the trial regarding the murder of former Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) President Sinan Ateş. 

Murder suspect Eray Özyağcı engaged in threatening behavior toward journalists as he was being removed from the courtroom. The moment Özyağcı smiled and made a trigger gesture toward journalists Timur Soykan, Barış Pehlivan, and Murat Ağırel was reflected in the court records.

HE HAD MADE A TRIGGER GESTURE

During the hearing, as he was being removed from the courtroom, Özyağcı threatened the journalists by making a trigger gesture with his hand. It is alleged that during this time, Özyağcı used the phrase, "We will see you, DHKP-C members."

The presiding judge stated that the report prepared by the gendarmerie at the time of the incident has been added to the case file. This report shows that the threatening gesture made by Özyağcı toward the journalists has been officially recorded.
