New move from Dilan Polat after release request denied

A new development has occurred in the case involving 28 defendants, including Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who face up to 40 years in prison on charges of money laundering.
The Istanbul Anatolian 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance had previously ruled for the continuation of the detention of 5 defendants, including Dilan and Engin Polat.
While Dilan Polat's lawyer requested her release, citing that the MASAK report was in their favor and that the client had health issues, the court rejected this objection due to the risk of flight.

It was stated that an erroneous assessment had been made, and release was requested again. It was noted that if release is not granted, she could be released by applying multiple judicial control provisions, including house arrest.
APPEAL AFTER APPEAL
The Istanbul Anatolian 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, which will conduct the trial, rejected the request. Dilan Polat's lawyer appealed this decision as well.
The Istanbul Anatolian 6th High Criminal Court, acting as the higher court, also rejected the appeal, stating that the Istanbul Anatolian 4th High Criminal Court had previously ruled for the continuation of detention, that there is concrete evidence constituting strong suspicion that the defendant committed the crimes, and that release under judicial control would be insufficient. It ruled for the continuation of the detention.
'COULD TAMPER WITH EVIDENCE'
Another release request came from Engin Polat's brother, Alper Kürşat Polat. Polat, who is involved in the case as a leader of a criminal organization, also requested his release, stating that no negative findings were made against him in the MASAK report. The court rejected the request, noting the possibility of flight, the potential for tampering with evidence as it has not yet been fully collected, and the existence of evidence indicating strong suspicion of a crime.
