The 4th High Criminal Court has ruled that Dilan Polat's detention shall continue.
WHAT HAPPENED
The investigation initiated by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Engin Polat and Dilan Polat for "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," "prevention of laundering proceeds of crime," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "violation of the tax law" is ongoing.
Within the scope of the investigation, 12 suspects, including Dilan and Engin Polat, were arrested and sent to prison on November 5. Furthermore, following the indictment prepared for 28 suspects, including Dilan and Engin Polat, the court's preliminary report recently ruled for the continued detention of 5 imprisoned defendants. Following this, 5 detainees, including Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, had filed an objection with the Istanbul Anatolian High Criminal Court.
