The Dilan-Engin Polat couple, who have remained on the agenda with their luxurious lifestyle, were arrested and sent to prison on November 5 on charges of 'money laundering' and 'tax evasion'.
The Polat family's new lawyer, Hüseyin Kaya, has become a hot topic on social media with his statements.
Participating in Nevşin Mengü’s YouTube broadcast, Hüseyin Kaya stated that the money laundering charge was not directed at Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, and that the accusations were entirely related to taxes.
'I SENT BOOKS'
Stating that he sent books for Dilan Polat to read in prison, Kaya said, "I sent 'The Disconnected' (Tutunamayanlar) by Oğuz Atay, 'Man's Search for Meaning' by Viktor Emil Frankl, and a few more books by the same author."
In the same broadcast, Hüseyin Kaya also emphasized that Dilan Polat cries very often in prison.
