Dilan and Engin Polat were arrested following 'money laundering' accusations, leading to increased scrutiny of social media influencers who own beauty centers.
Singer Petek Dinçöz, who also owns a beauty center, revealed that Dilan Polat called her when she opened her center in 2021.

Dinçöz said, "On the phone, she first said to me, 'Congratulations, Petek.' When I said I didn't know her, she replied, 'I'm Dilan Polat, we've become neighbors.'"
Dilan Polat reportedly responded to Petek Dinçöz's question, "How do you attract customers?" by saying, "You have to attract them by posting on Instagram 24 hours a day, my dear."
