Travel warning for Lebanon from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned citizens, stating that the security situation in Lebanon could deteriorate rapidly.
The Ministry advised those planning to travel to Lebanon to be cautious and to avoid such travel if possible.
The following statements were included in the announcement:
''Our Valued Citizens,
Due to recent developments in our region, there is a possibility that the security situation in Lebanon may deteriorate rapidly.
In this regard,
-It is advised that our citizens avoid traveling to Lebanon unless it is essential;
-It is advised that our citizens currently in Lebanon remain cautious, avoid traveling to the Nabatieh, South Lebanon, Bekaa, and Baalbek-Hermel governorates unless necessary, and that those whose presence in Lebanon is not essential depart from Lebanon while commercial flights are still operating, if possible.
