Turkish Airlines cancels flights to Lebanon

Following the intensification of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, Turkish Airlines (THY) has canceled two round-trip flights scheduled for today due to security concerns.

Hezbollah had announced that it launched an attack on Israel in retaliation for the assassination of one of its senior commanders, Fuad Shukr.

Following this development, Israel also carried out an airstrike on Lebanon.

Due to the tension in the airspace, THY and AJet have canceled their Beirut flights. Accordingly, THY announced that the TK-824 Istanbul-Beirut, TK-825 Beirut-Istanbul, TK-826 Istanbul-Beirut, and TK-827 Beirut-Istanbul flights have been canceled.
