THY's Mpox measures are in effect
Turkish Airlines (THY) has decided to implement a series of measures for its flights to Africa. According to the decision, it was reported that cabin crew will use gloves and masks on flights to Africa.
Following the World Health Organization's declaration of a public health emergency, Turkish Airlines has also decided to implement a series of measures regarding the Mpox virus, which has become a global concern.
While the virus has also been detected in Sweden and Pakistan outside of African countries, THY, which operates many flights to Africa every day, has decided as a precaution that cabin crew will wear masks and gloves on flights to these countries.
According to reports from HavaSosyalMedya, cabin crew will now begin wearing masks and gloves on Istanbul Airport-Africa flights.
THY DENIES THE CLAIMS
Turkish Airlines sources, however, stated that no such practice exists and that the claims are entirely disinformation.
