Two indictments accepted in the Baby Sıla case
Two separate indictments sent to the Tekirdağ 3rd High Criminal Court regarding 2-year-old Baby Sıla, who lost her life due to sexual abuse and assault, have been accepted.

A new development has occurred regarding 2-year-old Baby Sıla, who lost her life in the hospital where she was taken due to sexual abuse and violence in Tekirdağ. Two separate indictments prepared against 5 suspects and sent to the Tekirdağ 3rd High Criminal Court have been accepted.
The indictment prepared by the Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the mother, B.Y. (29), the neighbor K.A. (32), who is the father of one of the children, and S.Ö. (57), with whom the mother was living, was sent to the Tekirdağ 2nd High Criminal Court, while the indictment against the children dragged into crime, G.K. (14) and K.A. (13), was sent to the Tekirdağ 3rd High Criminal Court.
The courts decided to accept the examined indictments.
In the indictment accepted by the Tekirdağ 2nd High Criminal Court, a total of 67 years of imprisonment was requested for the mother, B.Y., for the crimes of "intentional killing by negligent conduct," "destruction, concealment, or alteration of evidence of a crime," and "violation of obligations arising from family law." For K.A., the father of one of the children dragged into crime, a total of 28 years and 6 months of imprisonment was requested for the crimes of "sexual abuse of a child" and "deprivation of liberty," and 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment was requested for S.Ö., with whom the mother was living, for the crime of "failure to report and concealment of a crime."
In the indictment accepted by the Tekirdağ 3rd High Criminal Court, a total of 66 years of imprisonment was requested for G.K., one of the children dragged into crime, for the crimes of "qualified sexual abuse of a child" and "deprivation of liberty," while for K.A., 48 years of imprisonment for "qualified sexual abuse" and "deprivation of liberty," and an aggravated life sentence for the crime of "intentional killing" were requested.
