YSK announces final results of March 31 elections

The final results of the March 31 Local Administration General Elections have been announced.
Supreme Election Council Chairman Ahmet Yener stated the following:
"Representatives of the political parties participating in the election have followed the election results live from our presidency. Data and information regarding elections held between 2009 and 2024 are being shared on the YSK open data portal."
Elections will be renewed on June 2 in the announced locations.
Yener's other statements are as follows:
"Elections will be renewed on June 2 in the districts of Aksaray Güzelyurt, Kayseri Pınarbaşı, Şanlıurfa Hilvan, Sivas Yıldızeli, and Güneykaya.
The turnout rate in the metropolitan mayoral election was 78.12 percent. In the 30 metropolitan municipalities, the AK Party won 12, YRP 1, DEM 3, and CHP 14 metropolitan mayoralties.
In the elections held, the lowest turnout for metropolitan mayoralties was 67.34 percent in Diyarbakır, 59.63 percent for provincial mayoralties in Bingöl, and 59.76 percent for district mayoralties in Diyarbakır Bağlar.
The places with the highest turnout were Manisa with 84.97 percent for metropolitan mayoralties and Artvin with 83.44 percent for provincial mayoralties."
