YSK to announce final results of local elections tomorrow! Polls to be re-established in 7 locations...
The Supreme Election Council (YSK) will announce the final results of the March 31 Local Elections tomorrow. In line with the decision previously taken by the YSK, elections in 7 locations will be held again on Sunday, June 2.
Turkey went to the polls on Sunday, March 31, to elect its local administrators who will serve for the next 5 years.
According to the non-final results of the March 31 Local Administration General Elections, the CHP won mayoralties in 35 cities, the AKP in 24, the DEM Party in 10, the MHP in 8, the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) in 2, the BBP in 1, and the IYI Party in 1 city.

POLLS TO BE ESTABLISHED IN 7 REGIONS ON JUNE 2
In accordance with the YSK's renewal decisions, polls will be re-established for mayoral elections on Sunday, June 2, in the Pınarbaşı district of Kayseri, the Hilvan district of Şanlıurfa, the Güzelyurt district of Aksaray, as well as in the towns of Güneykaya in Sivas's Yıldızeli, Büyükkarıştıran in Kırklareli's Lüleburgaz, Akpazarı in Tunceli's Mazgirt, and Sağlık in Aksaray's central district.
