'Figure for the lowest pension has been finalized' claim: Regulation coming to Parliament
The regulation aimed at increasing the lowest pension is expected to be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) today. While it is stated that payments are planned to be made in August along with the July difference, it is claimed that the lowest pension amount has been finalized.

It has been learned that the work regarding the raise to be applied to the lowest pension has been completed.
According to information conveyed from AKP sources, it is stated that the raise regulation will be included in the tax package to be submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) today.
In AKP lobbies, it is stated that the raise will not be ready for July. It is being discussed that the raise difference for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will be given in August.
Since the law regarding the increase of the lowest pension has not yet been enacted, all SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive their July payments with the six-month inflation rate increase of 24.73 percent. However, those whose base pension is 8 thousand liras or less will again be paid 10 thousand liras in July.
HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST PENSION BE?
According to the news in the Türkiye newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, the figure for the lowest pension has been finalized. It was stated that with the increase, the lowest pension would be 12 thousand or 12 thousand 500 liras.
DIFFERENCE PAYMENTS IN AUGUST
After the law aimed at increasing the lowest pension is enacted, a difference payment will be made to those in this situation. It is stated that the difference payment could be paid with the August pensions.
SSK retirees receive their pension payments between the 17th and 26th of each month, while Bağ-Kur retirees receive them between the 25th and 28th of each month.
