In accordance with Article 12 of Law No. 7316, all types of deposits and receivables arising from investment services and activities are transferred to the Investor Compensation Center (YTM) if they are not claimed for 10 years from the date of the account holder's last transaction, request, or written instruction.
WHICH ACCOUNTS WILL BE TRANSFERRED?
The list of investment accounts subject to the statute of limitations has been published by Ziraat Bank. Customers included in this list can apply to the relevant branches to claim the deposits and receivables in their accounts before the transfer to the YTM takes place.
TRANSFER PROCEDURES
If no application is made by the date specified in the list, the accounts subject to the statute of limitations will be transferred to the accounts to be opened on behalf of the YTM at Takasbank and the Central Securities Depository (MKK). After the transfer process, an application must be made for the return of the assets.
Customers who wish to obtain detailed information about the application process and the necessary documents for the return of assets subject to the statute of limitations can review the relevant announcement link on Ziraat Bank's official website.
