Instagram has been reported to be working on a new feature for some time.
With the feature, which is planned to arrive on the platform in the coming weeks, users will be able to poke each other.
The poke feature, once used on platforms like MSN and Facebook, was identified by X user and app developer Alessandro Paluzzi.
