Storm and dust warning from the Meteorological Service
Dust transport originating from North Africa and Syria is expected to affect the country starting from the evening hours. According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, citizens are urged to be cautious and take precautions against disruptions in transportation, the toppling of trees and poles, and roofs being blown off.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that dust transport is expected to be effective tomorrow in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, western Central Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia regions, and on Saturday in the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. It is estimated that the dust will leave the country starting from Sunday morning.
The dust transport is expected to be of moderate intensity in the Eastern Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia, strong in Southeastern Anatolia, and light to occasionally moderate in other areas.
Caution and precautions are necessary against negative effects such as a decrease in air quality, reduced visibility, muddy precipitation during rainfall, and health problems.
STORM WARNING FOR THE WEST OF THE COUNTRY
On the other hand, the General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a storm warning for the western parts of the country.
Accordingly, the wind, which is expected to be effective in the west of the country starting tomorrow morning, is forecast to blow strongly from the north and northeast in the vicinity of Istanbul, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Çanakkale, and Balıkesir, as well as the northern parts of İzmir, with storm-force winds in higher elevations. In the vicinity of Antalya, Burdur, Isparta, and Muğla, it is expected to blow strongly from the south and southeast, with short-term storms.
The strong winds and storms are expected to lose their effect in the Marmara and North Aegean regions after Saturday afternoon, and in the Western Mediterranean after Friday evening.
