MUSTARD SAUCE INGREDIENTS
- 50 g hot mustard powder (obtained by grinding the seeds of the mustard plant)
- 120 ml apple or grape vinegar (we prefer apple cider vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
HOW TO MAKE MUSTARD SAUCE:
- Pour the apple cider vinegar into a bowl.
- Add the mustard powder, sugar, and salt. Mix all the ingredients together.
- Once the mixture reaches a creamy or toothpaste-like consistency, transfer it to a clean jar.
- After closing the lid of the jar tightly, place it in the refrigerator.
- Waiting for about a week in the refrigerator is sufficient for the mustard to mature and reach its full flavor.
- If you keep it at room temperature, the maturation time shortens, but you cannot store it for a long time this way.
- When using the mustard, always take it out with a clean knife and keep the jar lid closed at all times.
- Otherwise, its flavor may be lost and it may spoil more quickly.
