Yalova Training and Research Hospital employees protested Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Members of Health-Sen, affiliated with Memur-Sen, held a press statement in the hospital courtyard.
'WE ARE HERE FOR THE TEARFUL MOTHERS'
Health-Sen Branch President Halil İbrahim Özer stated in his address that babies, children, and women are being massacred in Gaza, saying:
“Valuable participants who possess a conscience, whose hearts beat for Palestine, whose hearts pulse in Gaza, and who carry the pain of the Palestinian people in their hearts like a bullet wound; we are here for our first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, for Jerusalem, and for Gaza under bombardment. We are here for the babies in the bombed and destroyed hospitals, and for the healthcare workers who have been martyred.
We are here for the tearful mothers, the heartbroken fathers, for the milk-scented babies, and to be the voice of conscience. As Health-Sen organizations, we are calling out from all 81 provinces of Turkey and from our hospitals. We are here to condemn the bloodthirsty, occupying, murderous, Zionist Israel and to support the rightful cause of the oppressed Palestinian people. Greetings to Jerusalem.”
Following the statement, the healthcare workers returned to their duties.
