Breaking his silence after the reports appeared in the press, Saraç stated, "Could a person like me do such a thing? I have been subjected to slander, and I am distressed. It is definitively and clearly a lie. I have initiated legal proceedings. I will share the documents with the public shortly."

STATEMENT MADE THROUGH HIS LAWYER
Dr. Ender Saraç explained the background of the abuse allegations that have come to the public's attention through his lawyer, Altın Mimir.
Written statement made by Dr. Ender Saraç's lawyer, Altın Mimir:
"First and foremost, we would like to share our deep sadness at having to make this statement against the slander directed at our client. There can be no justifiable reason for a child, who is just preparing to enter adolescence, to be used as material in a divorce case by a mother for the purpose of obtaining unfair gain. It is a legal and conscientious necessity that no one should be a tool in causing a lifelong trauma to a child solely for the purpose of obtaining a large sum from our client, Dr. Ender SARAÇ.
We would like to emphasize that the marriage between our client and his wife, Benan SARAÇ, has been unsustainable for a long time, and the parties have been living separately for over 3 years.
From the moment our client took action to end a marriage that remained only on paper, he was threatened with various edited video recordings. Following his refusal to yield to these threats and his filing for divorce, and after the court issued a confidentiality order and a publication ban regarding the content of the case, this ugly, unrealistic, and blood-curdling plan was prepared, and a perception operation was launched via social media.
At this point, we would like to state that Benan Hanım, who could not speak due to the protection order issued against her, did not hesitate to sacrifice her child. As the public will appreciate, if such an event had truly occurred, no mother would have kept this video in her possession for years to use for blackmail purposes.
Undoubtedly, not just a mother, but anyone who even suspected such a thing would have first turned to the judiciary. We leave it to the public to judge the purpose of pressuring a small child to make statements against a father he has not seen for months instead of applying to the judiciary after the divorce case was filed against her, and having a document that should be completely confidential published by some underground accounts without even blurring the child's name.
Furthermore, we would like to state that the fact that the cat named Boncuk, seen in the video presented as so-called evidence of the ugly slander attributed to our client, passed away exactly 6 years ago is in itself highly significant in showing the gravity of the situation.
Ensuring that children are not involved in extremely difficult and traumatic processes such as divorce is an extremely important duty and responsibility imposed not only on mothers and fathers but on the entire society.
Reminding that society should take the child under protection against parents who succumb to their individual ambitions, we hope that no one will be a tool in this smear campaign conducted on social media.
Because the greatest value that needs to be protected here is a child whose will has been compromised. We kindly request that everyone show sensitivity to this important issue and not give credence to posts and content that violate the publication ban, and we thank you in advance for your sensitivity and responsive approach regarding this matter."
