World-famous actor Bill Cosby has once again found himself at the center of sexual assault and rape allegations. Chelan Lasha, who claims Cosby raped her when she was just 17, has filed a lawsuit against the famous actor.

Famous actor Bill Cosby, known in our country for The Cosby Show, has once again come to the agenda with allegations of sexual assault and rape.
A 54-year-old woman named Chelan Lasha has filed a lawsuit, stating that she was raped by the actor in 1986 at the Elvis Suite in the Las Vegas Hilton when she was just 17, after he gave her a blue capsule he claimed would clear her sinuses.
Lasha filed the lawsuit on Monday at the U.S. District Court in Las Vegas, alleging that Cosby, now 86, deceived her with promises of helping her with her modeling career.
Her statement emerged
Lasha states that at the time, her stepmother worked at the same company as Cosby, and that Cosby became interested after seeing Lasha's photo on her mother's desk. She explains that Cosby then told her parents he would help her with her career.
According to Lasha's statement, Cosby called her grandmother in October 1986, saying a photographer was ready at his hotel and asking her to read a script.
Although Lasha had a minor sinus infection, she went to the Elvis Suite at the Hilton so as not to miss this opportunity.
The 5,000-square-foot penthouse on the 30th floor was where Elvis Presley lived while performing at the hotel since 1969. She recounted that a photographer took a few pictures and that Cosby told her to go to the bathroom and put on a bathrobe.
'People who talk too much can be silenced'
She alleges that Cosby then gave her a blue capsule and sexually assaulted her.
Lasha claims she told her sister and a friend about what happened, but that a few days after the incident, Cosby called her and said, "People who talk too much can be silenced."

Cosby has appeared in court before over similar allegations. He was even sentenced to three to ten years in state prison.
However, after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his conviction, arguing that his legal due process rights had been violated, he was released in June 2021 after serving only three years behind bars.
