Artist Orhan Aydın: 'My pain will never subside, I know the killers of my daughter'

Theater and cinema artist Orhan Aydın lost his daughter Eylem Şafak Aydın at a young age last year when she was trapped under the rubble in Hatay, one of the cities struck by the earthquake.
Aydın made statements on the anniversary of his daughter Eylem Şafak Aydın Yetiş's death.
'WE MUST ORGANIZE AGAINST EVIL'
Speaking to Sözcü TV, Aydın said, "My pain will never subside; I know the killer of my daughter and other citizens very well. One day, they will certainly be held accountable. I am sure of this. What we need to do at this point is to organize against evil and interest groups."
WHO IS ORHAN AYDIN?
Turkish theater actor, performer, and writer Orhan Aydın was born on March 22, 1947.
He began his theater career at the Ankara Yenimahalle Community Center (Halkevi). To date, he has participated as an actor and/or director in nearly 100 plays in theaters such as the Ankara Public Theater, Çağdaş Sahne, Öncü Sahne, Ankara Unity Theater, Ali Hürol Theater, Ali Poyrazoğlu Theater, Gülriz Sururi-Engin Cezzar Theater, New Theater, Nâzım Players, and Tiyatroist.
He has dozens of published articles on theater. He has also acted in many feature films and television productions. He is originally from Şavşat, Artvin.
Orhan Aydın's theater life began in his final year of middle school and continued for a long time at the Ankara Community Centers.
In 1976, he won first place in an inter-school theater competition in Istanbul with a play he wrote and directed himself. Drawing attention with this success, Orhan Aydın produced children's hour programs for TRT Istanbul Children's Radio between 1976 and 1978. Following these highly acclaimed programs, he appeared in many other productions on TRT.
In 1980, he began to be recognized by wider audiences for his character 'Kavruk Hasan' in the program titled '5 Dakika' (5 Minutes), which aired on TRT.
In 1992, he played the role of a judge in the feature film 'Kurşun Adres Sormaz' (The Bullet Doesn't Ask for an Address), produced by Selim Soydan, directed by Bilge Olgaç, and starring Aytaç Arman, Halil Ergün, Levent Ülgen, and Şerif Sezer.
