The life of master artist Kayahan, who passed away in 2015, is being turned into a film. The artist's daughter, Beste Açar, stated, "I am doing everything I can to ensure it is a film worthy of my father's career."

Preparations are underway for a film depicting the life of Kayahan, the artist behind hit albums such as 'Gönül Sayfam', 'Yemin Ettim', 'Emrin Olur', and 'Odalarda Işıksızım'.
The artist's daughter, Beste Açar, made statements regarding the film.

Açar said, "My father's film project is very precious both for me and for Turkey. I am doing my best to ensure it is a film worthy of my father's love for music. We are in talks with Turkey's leading production companies. It will be clarified shortly. Our distribution company, which will bring the Kayahan film to audiences on the big screen, has been determined."
When asked, 'Is the cast of the film decided?', the artist replied, "Not yet. I would like dear Yiğit Kirazcı to play my father and Eda Ece to play me."
