Kayahan's life is being adapted for the big screen: His daughter Beste Açar revealed the names she wants to see in the film

Preparations are underway for a film depicting the life of Kayahan, the artist behind hit albums such as 'Gönül Sayfam', 'Yemin Ettim', 'Emrin Olur', and 'Odalarda Işıksızım'.

The artist's daughter, Beste Açar, made statements regarding the film.

'NO ONE KNOWS THE PATHS HE TRAVELED'

Açar stated, "The story of the film has emerged, and now we are in talks with producers. We will most likely start filming in May. We will tell the story of my father between the years 1969 and 1990. No one knows how he became Kayahan and the paths he traveled."

'I WOULD LIKE EDA ECE TO PLAY ME'

Expressing that she admires Eda Ece, Beste Açar said, "I love her personality very much. I love her stance and her naturalness. I adore her acting. If it happens, an offer will go to her from our side. If she accepts, I would very much like her to play me."

'YİĞİT KİRAZCI COULD PLAY MY FATHER'

Açar added, "We don't have anyone we've said 'yes' to yet for my father, but we actually thought of Yiğit Kirazcı. With the dimple on his chin, his curly hair, and his slim build, he resembles my father's younger self. Taner Ölmez could also be an option. İpek Açar Kömürcü is also aware of the project."
