Famous singer Demet Akalın spoke on the program she hosts about the problem she is having with the tenant living in the house she bought years ago.

'THEY ARE LIVING THERE FOR 5 THOUSAND LIRAS'

Stating that she receives 5,000 liras in rent per month, Akalın said, "The state needs to find a permanent solution to the landlord-tenant issue. My tenant is living there for 5,000 liras. Today, if you go somewhere for 5,000 liras with four people, the bill comes to three or four thousand liras.

Look at the arrogance of the man, just because I mentioned this on live broadcast, he went to the real estate agent and said, 'She mentioned me on the program, I was going to raise the rent, but I changed my mind.' Who do you think you are? The house is mine. And the man can actually say this," she said, expressing her outrage.

'I WAS PUTTING UP WITH EVERYONE'S NONSENSE'

The singer continued her words as follows:

"I am incredibly angry. I worked day and night to buy that house. I was modeling at the time, I was standing on my feet for 10-12 hours... It was one of the first houses I bought. I was pinning lapel pins on people, I was putting up with everyone's nonsense.

I paid for it with a loan. And you go and say, 'She mentioned me on the program, I changed my mind about raising the rent.' I got so angry that I told my lawyer, 'Take care of it.'"
