Details of the financial support Metin Akpınar provided to his daughters have emerged

It was revealed that actor Metin Akpınar, who has been married to Göksel Akpınar for 62 years and was known to have no children, has twin daughters named Duygu and Sevgi from a relationship he had years ago.

In a statement regarding his twin daughters, who were born out of wedlock and appeared years later, Akpınar had said, “After our paths crossed, my wife Göksel and I tried to provide them with as much financial and moral support as we could.”

'HE SENT AT MOST 500 TL PER MONTH'

Voice artist Onur Akay, who wrote an article titled "Metin Akpınar should apologize to his daughters, not the public!", announced that he had learned about the financial support Metin Akpınar provided to his twin daughters.

Akay stated, "I also learned about the financial support he provided. Once it was proven by a DNA test that he was the father of the girls, Metin Akpınar sent his twin daughters at most 500 TL per month. Yes, this is what the great Metin Akpınar called financial support. As for moral support, there is none at all!"

In his statement, Akpınar had said, “Most importantly, I apologize to the public whom I have senselessly upset. Unfortunately, life cannot be lived in reverse.”
