Ahmet Hakan's 'inheritance' criticism of Metin Akpınar: 'Why didn't you make it official for 14 years?'

Hürriyet Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan criticized Metin Akpınar's latest statement in his column today. While criticizing Akpınar's statement as "a statement that tries to salvage the situation for himself, aims to prevent public backlash, and includes fancy sentences like 'life cannot be lived backwards'," Hakan said, "Unfortunately, this statement does not save Metin Akpınar."

INHERITANCE CRITICISM

Hakan asked Metin Akpınar, who said, "I accepted them as my children from the moment I first met them," the following: "Why didn't you make the situation official for 14 years? Why did you force these children to hire lawyers, file lawsuits, and go to court? Was it so they wouldn't get a single penny of inheritance?" He added, "Life, of course, cannot be lived backwards. However, life can be compensated for moving forward."
