Famous footballer Fatih Kaan Arıman laid to rest

Fatih Kaan Arıman, captain of the Regional Amateur League team Rize Özel İdarespor, who passed away at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Istanbul, was laid to rest in his hometown of Rize.

Fatih Kaan Arıman's funeral ceremony, held at the Sahil Mosque in Rize, was attended by his family and relatives, as well as his teammates.

Following the funeral prayer, the footballer was laid to rest in the family cemetery in the village of Camidağı.

DIAGNOSED WITH LIVER INFECTION

Arıman had been admitted to the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Training and Research Hospital with a diagnosis of liver infection following the away match against Kars 36 Spor on February 4.

The 29-year-old footballer, who was transferred to the Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul by air ambulance three days ago, passed away yesterday.
