First statement from the husband of Ayşenur Parlak, who succumbed to cancer: 'I wish I had gone first'
Social media influencer Ayşenur Parlak has passed away after losing her battle with colon cancer. In a statement, her husband Savaş Parlak said, "I have prayed for years not to have to make this announcement, but it was not to be. I wish I had gone first."

Social media influencer Ayşenur Parlak, who battled cancer 4 times in 25 years, has passed away at the age of 37 due to colon cancer.
Ayşenur Parlak, who overcame stage two bone cancer at age 12, stage one breast cancer at age 27, and stage three lymphoma at age 30, was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 33. Parlak, who had been fighting stage four cancer, shared her treatment processes on her social media account.
Parlak passed away in the intensive care unit where she had been taken on Sunday evening.
'I WISH I HAD GONE FIRST'
Her husband Savaş Parlak announced her passing on his social media account.
In his statement, Parlak's husband said: "The decree belongs to God. I have prayed for years not to have to post this notification; I wish I had gone first. Even if I wrote pages, I could not describe my feelings anyway. Unfortunately, this is what God has written.
May God be pleased with everyone who stood by us and prayed. Please do not stop praying for her soul, for the sake of God. My only consolation is that I kept my vow: in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, until death do us part."
Born in İzmir in 1986, Ayşenur Parlak began her career as an export specialist after graduating from the Department of International Relations at university in Istanbul.
Ayşenur Parlak, who met and got engaged to her husband Savaş Parlak at university, learned she had breast cancer during the engagement process and married within one month to begin her treatment.
After receiving treatment following her marriage, Ayşenur Parlak continued to work as a tax officer after a successful recovery process.
Parlak authored the book titled "10 Amazon High Dose Life".
